Winner Picker

This tool picks a winner at random from a list of names. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs.

Part 1: Enter Names

Enter the names in the field below, each on a separate line. You can use names, usernames, or any other identifiers. A maximum of 10,000 entries are allowed. Please don't enter anything you would consider confidential (here's why).

Part 2: Number of Winners
Pick winner(s) from the list.
Part 3: Go!

Be patient! It may take a little while to pick your winner...

      About

This tool uses atmospheric noise to generate true random numbers. This is different from the pseudo-random number algorithms used in most software, which produce predictable sequences based on a mathematical formula.

Atmospheric noise is naturally unpredictable and cannot be gamed or predicted. Every draw is assigned a unique draw ID that you can share publicly to prove the result was fair.

This service is free to use for giveaways, lotteries, contests, and any situation where you need a verifiable, impartial random pick.
